Mark was the main film reviewer for GMTV and LK Today. He presented Ask US on the recently launched London TV, which provides Londoners with tips on what to do and where to go. He hosts the British Airways in-flight film entertainment, interviewing directors and movie stars as well as reviewing the films themselves. Mark was a presenter on Celebrity Extra on Living TV and is now a regular contributor to The Fix which is also on Living TV.  He is regularly seen on London Tonight and the ITV news channel as well as doing the movie reviews for 5 News. He is currently resident film critic for Glamour magazine, travel writer for Trip magazine and reviewer for The Month in The Sunday Times.

He hosted the film review show Movie Nights for ITV and has also fronted Coming Up for Carlton. Mark was a regular contributor for Liquid News for BBC3. Mark co-presented Five’s popular news entertainment show Exclusive with Sara Cox.

In addition to his television work Mark used to broadcast a daily entertainment slot on The Nicky Campbell Show on BBC Radio 5 Live and was a regular Radio 1 film critic. He has also appeared on Radio 4.

In 1997 Mark joined Mentorn Barraclough Carey as a news reader after working his way around the world from LA to the Far East using his versatility as a producer, presenter and reporter. He used his travel and journalistic skills to present for The Travel Channel.

In 1994 Mark became a freelance radio journalist and began Globetrotting!  Travelling to such far afield places as Africa, India, New Zealand and Latvia reporting for the World Service, Radio 1, 4 and 5 Live and also the Cannes Film Festival. Previously Mark worked as an assistant producer for BBC TV North before returning to BBC Radio Newcastle as a producer.

After graduating from Edinburgh University, where he studied Psychology, Mark worked for BBC Radio Newcastle compiling features and presenting the Saturday morning show, which had the station’s highest ratings.

When Mark is not presenting he can be found writing scripts for TV and Radio and enjoys snowboarding, surfing and mountain biking. Mark is also extremely passionate about game fishing.
